As a Seeds of Hope OH Family, there are a variety of resources we want to share with you. Being a foster or kinship parent can be testing, but with a helpful community behind you, it can be easier.

We offer immediate and ongoing assistance to any foster , kinship or adoptive family in the Miami Valley by providing support such as clothing, diapers, cribs, car seats and other essentials. Fill out the request form for specific items and we will e-mail you when they are ready for pickup.

4C for Children’s staff of early childhood experts educate and support everyone who cares for children to make sure all children reach their full potential. Among the supports we provide are helping families find child care and providing parenting resources.


Agape for Youth is a foster care, adoption through foster care, family support and Bridges provider agency located in Dayton, OH. We strive to support youth and families no matter where they are at in their child welfare journey.


The Bair Foundation is a Christian foster and adoption care agency, providing services for families and children in 9 states with local offices in Dayton and Cincinnati serving 11 counties. Christian principles of love, compassion, generosity and hope have been incorporated into our training, philosophy and services.


Isaiah’s Place is a non-profit, faith-based foster care agency. We train and license foster parents, and we provide ongoing case management and behavioral health services to the children we place in their care.


The Miami County Dental Clinic is dedicated to providing quality dental care and oral health education to those in the community who benefit from affordable, compassionate, and accessible dental services to low-income, uninsured, under-insured patients.


Oesterlen licenses foster homes both traditional and treatment level, residential treatment facility, wraparound services, and a respite house.


The Miami County Board of Developmental Disabilities, also known as Riverside, exists to empower people with developmental disabilities to live, work and play as full members of our community. From helping babies with developmental delays learn to crawl, walk and talk, to helping adults with daily living needs, adult day programs, job training and much more, we serve 1,000 people of all ages thanks to the generous support of the Miami County community.


CASA/GAL of Miami County is the voice for children who have been abused or neglected by empowering our community to volunteer as advocates for them in the court system. When the state steps in to protect a child’s safety, the court appoints a CASA volunteer to make independent and informed recommendations in the child’s best interest. After intensive training , volunteers are appointed to a child or family of children and spend an average of 5-10 hours a month advocating for these children for the lifetime of a case. Created in 1994, CASA/GAL of Miami County supports approximately 50 volunteers who advocate for more than 200 children each year.

SUPPORT GROUPS

Support groups are held at Troy Christian Church in Troy, OH. We will provide dinner for your family and childcare.

SHOP DAYS

Shop days are held at our office at 1100 Wayne St. in Troy. These are “free” shop days for our foster, kinship, adoptive families to come pick up what they need.
